All I have to say about this session is it was so COLD!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness!! it was like 30 degrees and with the wind chill it was like 20!!!! The devotional below is from my friend Katie's blog, I just loved it and wanted to share.

Luke 2:8-20
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

He is Here! Creation held its breath. Screams tore through the air and tears wet the ground as the baby boy was birthed. The very lungs that would gasp for air on the cross took their first breath - and the very heart that would be pierced began to beat. The Lord Jesus is born.Today tragedy strikes, large and small. Daily struggles meet life-changing news - and we, the creation, groan with frustration. 'Life's not fair' meets 'I feel so alone' and gives rise to, 'I do not know how to handle this.'But that night the baby slept. Wonder filled the air as men came and bowed low. They spoke of angels, and tonight of a savior born. Reverence joined hands with awe, and they fell silent. He has come. He lived, felt, breathed, suffered, loved, wept, hurt with, hurt for, and gave of himself. Thus the handling of life is under-girded with a faith that he knows. He is near. Today, I went back out with Corey so we could get some shots of him in his jersey, it was so unbelievably hot out on the field you have no idea! Those guys have to be really tough to withstand the heat in all their gear! I also photographed Miss Taylor who made the varsity cheer squad as a sophomore!! Go Taylor!! Hey everyone, I wanted to share a little about our family, as many of you may know Chris and I adopted our little Miss Kate! She is an absolute blessing and miracle, and we know that God hand picked her for us. We actually found Kate through private adoption and we are ready to adopt again. The reason I am putting this on my blog is many of you may know someone who is looking for adoption as an option. We have an open adoption with Kate's birth mom and it has really worked for us. Although we have not spoken for awhile I know that I could pick up the phone and call her at any given moment and her the same.

So if any of you reading this knows someone who may be considering this option feel free to contact us. We do not have to have a newborn but would like a child that is younger than Kate, she was four in April! Wow, time does fly.

Meet Jeremy and Tammy!!! What a super fun wedding these two had, I love all the fun details from the bright colored socks to the colorful umbrellas! Jeremy and Tammy have got to be two of the most easy going people ever! These two have dated for eight years, yes, I said eight years!!! so this was a huge night for everyone who knows them. Another interesting bit of trivia, is these two had the same last name {no they are not related at all} so Tammy didn't have to change one thing! I thought that was pretty cool! Behind on Blogging!

Hey everyone, sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything, I am finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, for awhile there I couldn't even find the tunnel much less the light!
I want to say a special thank you to all of my wonderful brides who have been so patient with me.
I have been out of town so much since February! There was a period of like three weeks where I didn't even come home! Anyway, I will hush now about that! Yesterday morning I went out with Kate and had a mini portrait session! Man, was it bright!! there wasn't a cloud in the sky, not one! I did manage to get a few great images though, however, Miss Kate is coming back Monday EVENING, when it isn't so bright! But for now here are a few of my favs.

Beach Sessions in October!

Hey guys, I was letting my Tyler, Dallas/Ft. Worth and Burleson Families know that I am going to be in Galveston, October 16-19, for beach family sessions or if you are a senior from these same areas getting the Four Seasons Package, this would be a great time to shoot your "summer session". If you are interested in coming please shoot me an email
I will be having sessions on Thursday, Friday, some of Saturday {the morning} and then on Sunday!
Its a great time to let your children miss just one day of school and have some family fun! We all will need a break by then anyway!
These sessions will be great for Christmas cards, Christmas presents, or that great family portrait to hang over the fireplace.
Also, it is a great place to do engagements or bridals for those of you that have booked weddings with me.
*for my Lufkin brides and engagement couples contact me if you are interested in doing your sessions there.

Spaces will be limited, email me so I can get you on the books!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say that I will be gone for awhile {about a week} we are going on a vacation sort of! I have two weddings in the midst of my vacation but nonetheless its vacation for me!!!
